OUR EXTERIOR DETAILING PROCESS

1 — PRE-SERVICE INSPECTION

Before we begin, we visually inspect the RV's exterior and identify areas requiring additional attention.

We look for existing damage, oxidation, staining, loose or damaged components, deteriorating seals, decals or other conditions that may affect how an area should be cleaned.

2 — PRE-RINSE & CONTAMINANT REMOVAL

Loose dirt, desert dust and debris are removed before the primary wash.

Areas affected by insects, road grime, bird droppings or heavier contamination receive additional attention as appropriate.

3 — PROFESSIONAL FOAM WASH

The RV is covered with an appropriate cleaning solution to help loosen dirt and contaminants from the surface.

Our goal is to allow the cleaning chemistry to do much of the work rather than relying on unnecessarily aggressive scrubbing or excessive pressure.

4 — SAFE CONTACT WASH

Where appropriate, exterior surfaces receive a careful contact wash using professional equipment and techniques designed to safely remove remaining contamination.

Particular attention is given to areas where dirt commonly accumulates, including trim, windows, compartment doors and lower sections of the RV.

5 — WHEELS & TIRES

Wheels and tires are cleaned to remove accumulated dirt, road grime and brake contamination as appropriate.

Optional tire conditioning and protection can be added to complete the appearance.

6 — PURIFIED DI FINAL RINSE

The final rinse utilizes purified deionized water.

Because DI water contains extremely low levels of dissolved minerals, it dramatically reduces the mineral residue associated with ordinary hard-water drying.

7 — PROTECTION

Cleaning is only half of proper exterior care.

Depending on the service selected, protective products can be applied to help enhance gloss, improve water behavior and provide an additional sacrificial barrier between your RV's exterior and the environment.

8 — FINAL INSPECTION

Before the service is complete, we perform a final visual inspection of the areas serviced.

At TEJA RV Care, we've built our water-treatment process specifically around caring for RVs and vehicles in the Arizona environment.

Hard water can contain dissolved minerals such as calcium and magnesium. When untreated water evaporates—especially from a surface heated by the Arizona sun—those minerals can remain behind as visible water spots and deposits.

That's why TEJA RV Care doesn't simply hook a hose to the nearest water source and start washing.

We bring a professional mobile water-treatment system designed to provide cleaner water throughout the wash process and a purified deionized (DI) final rinse for a spot-free finish.

MORE THAN JUST DI WATER

Many detailing companies advertise that they use deionized water.

So do we but that's only the final stage of our process.

TEJA RV Care uses a multi-stage water-treatment system designed to progressively condition and purify the water used to care for your RV or vehicle.

STAGE 1 — SEDIMENT FILTRATION

Water first passes through sediment filtration designed to capture larger suspended particles before they continue through the system.

This helps provide cleaner incoming water and protects the downstream filtration and treatment equipment.

STAGE 2 — WATER FILTRATION

The water continues through additional filtration designed to reduce unwanted contaminants before reaching the next stage of treatment.

Rather than relying solely on a final rinse to compensate for poor-quality incoming water, we begin improving the water before the wash starts.

STAGE 3 — WATER SOFTENING

Hard water is one of the biggest challenges when washing vehicles in Arizona.

Our mobile water-softening system reduces the hardness minerals responsible for many of the deposits associated with hard-water spotting.

That gives us better-quality water for the washing process before the water ever reaches our final purification stage.

STAGE 4 — DEIONIZATION

For the final rinse, water passes through our deionization system.

DI treatment removes dissolved ions from the water, producing highly purified rinse water with extremely low levels of dissolved solids.

That means when properly treated DI water evaporates, there are dramatically fewer dissolved minerals available to remain behind on the surface.
